Don’t let the charming and demure look of this face fool you! This is fine dining at its finest! Thank you for such a beautiful dining experience! I am from Redding but was in Ashland for the evening for an audition, so I decided that I wanted to indulge and try a fancy restaurant while I was there. The Alchemy did not disappoint, the exterior is charming, but everything else about the restaurant offers a punch! The outside garden was beautiful and a perfect setting to eat, because of Ashland’s cooler evenings. The food was fantastic! I also chose this restaurant because I wanted to try some different foods. It was my first time trying duck and it was cooked perfectly. The duck with the cohesive, melt in your mouth croissant pot pie was a magical bite! The salad was also a great touch! The truffle pomme frites (french fries) were absolutely too die for. They were so crispy and quite honestly the best fries I’ve ever had! I ended my dinner with the chocolate fondant! Do not sleep on this dessert! Absolutely heavenly! The rich chocolate, couple with the caramel and passion fruit drizzle and honeycomb, make you sing with each bite! 10/10 dining experience. The service was also great! Shoutout to Alaine who took great care of me! I would say it did take quite awhile to for the main course to come out, but I am not sure if that is because there was an issue or if that was the normal cook time for the duck. However, other than that the service was impeccable! The best part for me though was that I left the restaurant and didn’t feel heavy from the food, and was able to make the 2 hour drive back to Redding without feeling uncomfortable or tired from all the food I eat! This must be a testament to how fresh and quality the ingredients are in the food! Bravo! Tutti! And compliments to the chef! Love this place and will definitely be back once I book my next role here!

Went here for a birthday dinner and we each tried something different. They were ALL phenomenal. The service was amazing, the butter was especially devine. And what a beautiful garden view! We also loved the restaurant layout and how the smaller rooms make things more intimate.

This review is so overdue. My hubby and I have become regulars here over the last year. I can’t even begin to explain how welcome we have felt by all of the staff, especially Luca, Walker and Alayna. They’ve taken such good care of us and we are so so grateful. Luca’s old fashions and margaritas are simply the best. The smash burger is a favorite of ours. And we were regularly ordering the bone marrow during the summer, we sure hope it comes back, I still dream of it. The mussels were a favorite of mine too. You can’t beat their happy hour, it’s the best in Ashland! Thank you for treating us like family.

Alchemy, an Ashland staple. Service was stellar. Stacked Caesar salad (pictured) was unique and flavorful. The Ribeye (pictured) was flavorful, cooked to order, enhanced with accompanied sauces. Updated: Visited this evening. Ordered Lamb (Shank) Osso Bucco with potato cakes (pictured). Exceptional. Beyond worth the trip out. Encore, Alchemy, Encore.

My husband and I first found this amazing restaurant when we stayed at the hotel. Every dish is so uniquely put together, beautifully presented and extremely good. We came back for dinner and I had the best filet I’ve had in years. Their wine list is quite extensive with a wide variety from across the globe. Staff is attentive, knowledgeable and kind. The property is very inviting and cozy. Their breakfast is very very good as well!

In Ashland overnight while driving between LA and Canada. We chose this spot and it was bustling at 6:30p. Packed dining room, bar area and patio! Honestly. Simple menu, high quality food and drinks, and very tasty. Highly recommend if you need a nice dinner spot. Can be causal (bar area) or can be formal (dining room). Our food: STEAK TARTARE bagna cauda grilled sour dough seasoned with za'atar Great mix for the tartare, had a depth to it. The grilled sour dough was the perfect amount of char, and we love a Bagna cauda - great added saltiness. LOCAL MORELS house made ricotta & cappellini pasta cured egg chives Great middle dish. Super light, refreshing with the ricotta - and a fresh pasta is always light on the pallet. FILET MIGNON beef tenderloin basted in butter & thyme Farmer's Market vegetables chimi churri red wine truffle ju Fantastic sear - great accoutrements, and the taste as just what we needed. CHILLED CHOCOLATE FONDANT Scharffen Berger chocolate Passion fruit caramel Maldon Sea Salt Honeycomb The fondant cuts hard, but melts in your mouth and is super light. The honeycomb reminded me of a childhood Cadbury sweet, The Crunchie. Great. Had a fantastic glass of Italian wine and mint tea at the end. Great team, great food, lovely atmosphere.

Very sophisticated eating experience in an upscale casual setting - what I would expect from an excellent restaurant in a major city - we've visited Ashland to see the Oregon Shakespeare festival and have gone to this restaurant multiple times (finally catching up on my google reviews); every thing was great from how we were greeted, to how we were seated, to dealing with the severe food allergies of my daughter to the timeliness of the service. My daughter raved about the mushrooms; I absolutely loved the muscles, another member of our group loved the beef dishes and the desserts...save room for the desserts and order all of them - we've never had a bad dessert and on a couple of them was very tempted to order seconds. Just an amazing experience.

We had a fantastic experience at Alchemy and we will be returning for sure. The food was amazing and worth going just for that but the service impressed us just as much. We made a last minute reservation for our anniversary and they were able to get us in which was great. The staff were attentive but not over bearing and they answered our questions and made sure we had what we needed. Our server was brilliant and he made our dining experience top notch. The atmosphere is quiet and intimate inside and the outdoor seating was spacious and peaceful. As we were leaving the deer were meandering up the hill. The aged ribeye was perfect and absolutely huge. The lamb shank was delicious and tender. Everything had amazing flavors without being overwhelming. The drinks were pleasant as well. I would recommend Alchemy for a special celebration or just a pleasant evening out.
